Shrine clowns are often considered the most visible ambassadors of the shrine organization.

Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio at the beautiful Aladdin Shrine Center, the Aladdin Shrine Clown Unit celebrates its 56th year as one of the oldest and most respected shrine clown organizations in the North America. In addition to the annual Aladdin Shrine Circus, the Aladdin Shrine Clown Unit is very active in numerous parades, hospital visits, charity benefits, festivals, and corporate outings. The clowns also stay sharp by competing in both regional and national  competitions.

All Shrine Clowns donate their time and resources as unpaid volunteers. Funds generated by the Aladdin Shrine Clown Unit are used to support the Sneaker Fund.
